Donna Love

Donna Love is a highly experienced safeguarding and programme leader with more than 25 years' experience across healthcare, public health, safeguarding and humanitarian settings. Currently working within the NHS England London Region Safeguarding Team, she has led complex work relating to violence against women and girls, Female Genital Mutilation and safeguarding system improvement. Her career spans frontline clinical practice, senior leadership and international humanitarian work across the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Canada, East Africa, Central America and Asia.

Donna brings a unique combination of clinical credibility, strategic leadership and international experience. She helps organisations navigate complex safeguarding challenges, strengthen multi-agency responses and embed trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches into policy and practice. Through Indaba, she supports organisations seeking to improve outcomes for vulnerable individuals while building stronger, more effective safeguarding systems.
